These employees will be less productive and be less loyal, thus increasing turnover and making the company less profitable. This restricts the company’s capacity to support its workers, making this a potential steady-state that self-perpetuates. These are challenging times for everyone.  Acknowledging your worker’s fear and supporting their dreams gives way to building a workforce of loyal, dependable, and supportive people.  By paying attention to employees during difficult times, employers can build trust, appreciation, and loyalty.
